Catch of the Day ~ 25 May

No post yesterday due to lack of internet at the “Royal” Kona.  We left Pahoa, dragging our heels, cause we wanted to stay.

I tossed my lei into the sea as a promise to myself that I will return here.

We had FUN at Hilo’s Farmer’s Market, then drove north over the top of the island, enjoyed an awesome lunch in Waimea at a Korean BBQ.  Then landed at the Royal Kona where the only thing our room has to offer is a view.  But SUCH a view!

Flowers for you from Hawaii.

Brought my flowers from the Kea’au market to Kona.  Added some plumeria from Puna and discovered something.  You do not wish to pluck plumeria without gloves.  STICKY!  There see, you learned something.  Educational blog.

Snorkeling today was AMAZING!  Possibly the coolest thing I have tried since sex.  No photos to download until the camera dries. I promise fish pictures tomorrow morning!  🙂

  1. You tossing your lei in the ocean as a promise made me teary eyed! The flowers and the view is gorgeous! I can’t wait to see your pictures of snorkeling. I am so glad you loved it! You need to get scuba certified and be a mermaid like me!
