Tuesday, May 21 ~<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>Daniel arrives to live at our house for two weeks to entertain Boscoe, feed cats and assorted fish, and water my flowers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Wednesday, May 22 ~<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>10am – Five hour flight San Jose to Hawaii. Two hour layover in\u00a0Honolulu. 45-minute\u00a0flight to Kona.\u00a0 Drive 2.5 hours to the coast south of Pahoa. \u00a0Driving map for the day:\u00a0http:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/gc5uy<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Thursday, May 23 ~<\/strong><\/span> <\/span>Drive 90 minutes to Volcanoes National Park to explore and spend the day melting our shoes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Friday, May 24 ~<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Explore waterfalls in the Hilo area. \u00a0Waterfalls we hope to capture and shoot include:<\/span><\/p>\n

Waiale Falls<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Kulaniapia Falls\u00a0<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Rainbow Falls<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Peepee Falls<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Akaka Falls\u00a0<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

The elusive Umauma Falls<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

We may also find the Botanical Gardens and 4 mile drive<\/a>. \u00a0If there is no time for the Botanical Gardens today, we will stop by tomorrow on our drive to Kona.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hoping to end the day soaking in the warm springs at Ahalanui Park<\/a> back in Pahoa.<\/span><\/p>\n

Saturday, May 25 ~<\/strong><\/span> <\/span>Drive Pahoa to Kona stopping every 3 feet for photos.<\/span><\/p>\n

It says 3 hours and 12 minutes, but that’s if you do not stop every 3 feet for photos. \u00a0So we plan to take the whole day, including a stop at the Hilo Farmer’s Market<\/a> on the way through.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sunday, May 26 ~<\/strong><\/span> <\/span>9am-2pm Snorkel BBQ cruise to Kealakekua Bay<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

We plan to spend the rest of the day exploring Kona on foot and have dinner at\u00a0Huggos on the Rocks<\/a>.<\/span>
\n<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Monday, May 27 ~<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Breakfast across the street at Basik Acai<\/a>, then we’ll spend the day swimming and exploring Kona. \u00a0At 5pm we have reservations for the Royal Kona Luau<\/a>!<\/span><\/p>\n

Tuesday, May 28 ~<\/strong><\/span> <\/span>Get up at Oh God! thirty to drop rental car at 6:30 am and depart Kona 8:30 am.\u00a0 Arrive Honolulu 9:15. Depart 10 am for 30-minute flight to Kauai.\u00a0 Pick up rental car, get groceries and settle into condo on the beach in Poipu.<\/span><\/p>\n

Wednesday, May 29 ~<\/strong><\/span><\/span> Drive to Hanalei Bay<\/a> shooting Kiluea Lighthouse<\/a>\u00a0on the way. \u00a0Visit Ke’e Beach<\/a>\u00a0(possible snorkeling), definite snorkeling at Tunnels Beach<\/a>. \u00a0Explore the area and scout the beaches along the way for ones we want to visit over weekend.<\/span><\/p>\n

Friday, May 31 ~<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Wailua Falls<\/a>, Opaekaa Falls<\/a>, Lydgate beach<\/a> and Hukilau Lanai<\/a>\u00a0in Kapaa<\/p>\n

Saturday, June 1 ~\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>Hiking in\u00a0Waimea Canyon<\/a> State Park<\/span><\/p>\n

Sunday, June 2 ~<\/strong><\/span><\/span>\u00a0Relax and explore any of a\u00a0hundred of beaches<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Monday June 3 ~<\/strong><\/span> <\/span>Do MORE of anything we have not yet had enough. \u00a0More Hanalei Bay<\/a>\u00a0or\u00a0Na Pali Coast<\/a> would be a good guess.<\/p>\n

Tuesday, June 4 ~<\/strong><\/span> <\/span>Relax on the beach and pack.<\/p>\n

Wednesday, June 5 ~<\/strong> <\/span><\/span>10 am flight Kauai to Maui 45-minutes.\u00a0 Maui to San Jose 5 hours landing at 8pm Cali time.\u00a0 Boscoe!\u00a0 and 90 minute drive to home.<\/p>\n

Thursday, June 6 ~<\/strong><\/span> <\/span>LOVE Boscoe<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Friday, June 7 ~<\/strong> <\/span><\/span>unpack and sleep!<\/p>\n

Saturday and Sunday June 8 & 9 ~<\/strong><\/span> <\/span>WORK to pay for vacation.<\/p>\n
