If there is one thing I have learned from reading my new favorite blog, Crusoe the Celebrity Dachshund<\/a>, it is this: readers ADORE seeing you in costumes!\u00a0<\/span>(Right!?) \u00a0So here you go.<\/span><\/p>\n

My official Hawaii snorkeling costume.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

I know! \u00a0How awesome does it get? \u00a0The capri pants and blue watery top are made of 50 spf materials so they act as sunblock!<\/span><\/p>\n

I have a bunch of other costumes for Hawaii that I know you can’t wait to see, so I won’t drag it out a post a day for the next week. \u00a0I’ll just drop the whole bomb on you now because I know how excited you are to see what I will be wearing in Hawaii! \u00a0(Besides, I promised my mom and Laura and Melanie that I would provide photos of my new hat and swimsuits.)<\/span><\/p>\n

First we have last year’s swim wear. \u00a0(Because I plan to swim every day and need ALL my swimmy soups!)<\/span><\/p>\n

STILL cute, right?<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

\u00a0Then we have my old swim skirt with a NEW purple swim top!<\/span><\/p>\n

It matches my cute purple toes!<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

… and my new purple water shoes!<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

Racer back looks AWESOME with my tattoos!<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

I just love the flirty skirts!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

My new swimmy soup has a skirt, too!<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

This one just screams “HAWAIIAN VACATION!”<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

And NOW: \u00a0The moment you have all been waiting for:<\/span><\/p>\n

My new $3 cover-up from Eco Thrift!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

It still had the tags on it!<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

I bought the cute cover-up months ago, hung it in the closet and forgot about it. \u00a0Then I was shopping for a big sun hat because when my friend Jim was in Hawaii last year he posted this photo that makes me SMILE every time I look at him:<\/span><\/p>\n

Jim and his awesome hat are NOT in my suitcase.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

I decided that if I was going to have a supremely wonderful Hawaiian vacation, it required an awesome hat like Jim’s. \u00a0So I shopped in many places, including the Eco Thrift with no luck. \u00a0Then one day I was at Morning Sun Herb Farm<\/a> in Vacaville and I saw it. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It was all wrong. \u00a0It was not the right color. \u00a0I wanted beige or tan. \u00a0But it spoke to me across the expanse of greenhouses, so I went and put it on. \u00a0It fit like it was made for me. \u00a0I was delighted with the hat and my delight only escalated when I returned home and realized it was a perfect match for my $3 cover-up!<\/span><\/p>\n

I know what you’re thinking. \u00a0HOW does she get THAT much awesome into one outfit?<\/span><\/p>\n

Oh! \u00a0Jeremy is packing, too. \u00a0Here is his a 50 spf swim costume:<\/span><\/p>\n

And I have one more outfit you want to see. \u00a0It was a Yule gift from Jeremy and I have not had a chance to wear it yet, so it’s going in the suitcase!<\/span><\/p>\n
