Here is the birthday boy!  No, we did not go into the aquarium, and NO, the giant octopus did not eat Jeremy as it looks like he is about to do in this pic.

But I digress.  Our wonderful adventure began on the ferry from Vallejo

Our New Bridge!

I was very excited about this day trip due to it being my very first opportunity
to photograph our new Bay bridge!

Our first views from the ferry were foggy.

But the fog burned off early and afforded us some gorgeous views
during the race and on our way home!

Of course the “old” bridge has always made awesome photo ops!

There was a cruise ship docked, dwarfing the giant building
next to it and trying to obscure the bridge view.

Apparently Mickey captains this boat!

About Town

We discovered Levi Plaza for the first time.

The most AMAZING series of urban waterfalls
and water features I have ever seen!

I always love to shoot Transamerica.

Both ends of the Bay Bridge.

Water spots and the dazzling afternoon sun created some beautiful
art shots on the ferry ride home!
