We Reach the Adriatic: Zadar, Nin, Pag, Pakostane

Two restaurants in Nin.  Locals seem to prefer Konoba Dalmacija.

Gostionica Burela

Konoba Dalmacija

And in Zadar, everyone raves about the cevapi and pita at

Gricko Grill
Maybe a good place to grab delicious meat-on-a-stick on the way out of town.

Konoba Skoblar is apparently the best traditional konoba.

Pakistane offers

Giardino

Konoba DOKER  good place for lamb, pork and octopus, apparently.

All various long-distance restaurant radar picks.

Sibenik

Ideas:

Barone Fortress

Tips say to walk up the hill.  Streets are narrow with lots of one-ways.

Otherwise

And if it’s time for lunch by then

Buffet Simun is right next to the open air market.  It’s on the way out of town.

Typical review: “Authentic atmosphere, great food.  Original local restaurant, with great quality and rich selection of traditional food.  If you’re not expecting a fancy upscale place (which this definitely is not) but would appreciate to get a large serving of 1st class local food, than do not hesitate to visit this place. Also, the prices are so low, that it is surely the best value of food offer in Sibenik. Good friendly service too.”
